INSOLVENCY

He has also successfully represented prominent clients such as Siemens Financial Services Private Limited, JM Financial Asset Reconstruction Company, State Bank of India, and HDFC Bank in significant insolvency matters, asset recovery, and enforcement of security interests under the SARFAESI Act. He has argued several reportable and precedent-setting cases before the NCLAT, including, Mayank Goyal v. G. Madhusudhan Rao, RP of Bil Energy Systems Ltd. & Anr, FedEx Express Transportation and Supply Chain Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. v. Zipker Online Services Pvt. Ltd. & State Bank of India v. Gourishankar Poddar & Anr.

ARBITRATION

In the field of arbitration, Asav has represented financial institutions and corporate clients in high-value commercial disputes, securing successful outcomes through both domestic and international arbitration. He has successfully obtained attachment and sale orders under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, ensuring effective enforcement of arbitral awards and safeguarding his clients’ interests. Additionally, Asav was actively involved in representing an individual foreign investor client before the Supreme Court of India, where the issue of the stamping of arbitration agreements was addressed by a Constitution Bench of 7 judges.
