As Associate Partner of the Banking & Finance practice of IndiaLaw LLP, Nim advises various nationalized banks, private sector banks and non-banking financial institutions in sole lending, multiple lending and consortium lending in project finance, structured finance, corporate finance and real estate finance involving structuring, drafting and negotiation of financing documents. During her professional career of over a decade, Nim has also advised resolution professionals and committee of creditors in insolvency processes. In her general corporate practice, she has conducted extensive due diligence for company acquisition transactions and advised on corporate matters. She has also conducted extensive due diligence for assignment of loan accounts by various banks. In real estate, her specialization ranges from construction finance, housing finance, property acquisition finance, to title investigation and conveyancing.

Nim’ background also includes stints as in-house counsel at one of the prominent non-banking financial institutions. In her early career she has practiced in general corporate law, real estate and litigation at Calcutta High Court, Debt Recovery Tribunals and National Company Law Tribunal at Kolkata. She is an alumna of the University of Calcutta.
