Ms. Nim Dem Dorjee is a seasoned legal professional in the banking and finance industry with extensive experience in leading complex financing transactions across project finance, corporate finance and real estate finance sectors. She has a proven track record in structuring transactions involving multiple banking, consortium finance, sole lending, co-lending and syndicated lending as well as loan transfers, novation, and accession. Her expertise in structuring, drafting and negotiating financing documents enables her to offer strategic counsel tailored to each transaction’s requirement. In 2025, she has been recognised by Legal500 as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ and ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in Banking & Finance.

With over a decade of professional experience, Nim’s diverse portfolio encompasses advising on Swiss Challenge processes and debt assignments, advising Resolution Professionals (RPs) and Committees of Creditors (CoCs) in Corporate Insolvency Resolution Processes (CIRP), conducting thorough due diligence for company acquisition, negotiating corporate contracts and providing legal advice in developing financial products. She has also advised on assignment of loan accounts by various nationalized, private sector banks and Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs). In the real estate domain, her experience ranges from title investigation and conveyancing to construction finance, housing finance, property acquisition finance.
