Arpita brings over a decade of international legal experience, having spent ten years with one of Taiwan’s oldest and most respected intellectual property law firms. During her tenure, she advised multinational corporations, investors, and businesses on a broad range of cross-border legal and regulatory matters, developing extensive experience across key Asian jurisdictions, including Taiwan, Japan, China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Her practice focuses on corporate advisory, labour and employment law, intellectual property, and foreign investment, with particular expertise in assisting multinational enterprises and international investors in navigating complex legal, regulatory, and commercial landscapes across jurisdictions. Through her close association with the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), she has also gained valuable industry insight into the manufacturing, electronics, and technology sectors.
Arpita is widely recognised for her thought leadership and academic engagement. She has authored articles for leading legal publications and has served as a guest lecturer at prominent universities in Taiwan, contributing to legal scholarship and professional discourse on issues impacting businesses and investors across the region.
An LL.B. graduate from the University of Calcutta and an MBA graduate from Chang Gung University, Taiwan, Arpita combines strong legal expertise with commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the Asian business environment.
