IndiaLaw at IBC at Ten Kolkata: Insights on Reforms, Cross-Border & Future of Insolvency Framework

We are delighted to have been associated with the IBC at Ten: Innovation, Reform & Emerging Challenges in Kolkata, organised by Association of Corporate Advisers & Executives (ACAE) in association with IPA-ICMAI. The conclave brought together distinguished voices from the judiciary, regulators, insolvency professionals, and legal experts to reflect on the journey of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) over the last decade and the road ahead.

Our Managing Partner, Mr. P. V. Shiju, spoke on the impact of recent amendments to the IBC, with particular focus on issues relating to CIIRP, cross-border insolvency, and group insolvency.

Tannya Baranwal, our Associate Partner and Co-Chairperson of the IBC Committee of ACAE, also played an active role in organizing the conclave.

As India’s insolvency ecosystem continues to mature, such meaningful discussions remain vital in shaping the country’s financial and legal landscape.
