We successfully advised and represented Malabar Gold Limited in a suit filed before the Hon’ble High Court, Bombay.

The Order of Justice Dangre starts with an opening quote: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness… only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate and only love can do that —-

In a reasoned and detailed order that followed, the Hon’ble Bench first notes that Malabar Gold is engaged in a noble and philanthropic cause, of education and scholarship of deserving girl candidates, without considering their caste, creed, community, or religion. The defamatory posts were also observed to have been published to create discord and communal rift, and an attempt to disturb the unity of our nation. The Hon’ble Bench has now directed the aforementioned social media platforms/websites – Instagram, Facebook, ‘X’, and Meta Platforms to take down/delete the defamatory posts, with immediate effect.

Our Litigation Team lead by Nidhi Singh and Shubham Khaire, Ishan Gambhir, Brian Noronha, Akshata Parkar represented Malabar Gold Limited
