Satish brings over 27 years of extensive experience across the full spectrum of corporate legal practice, including investment funds, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, policy and financial regulations, promoter and shareholder disputes, as well as insolvency and restructuring matters.  

As both a qualified lawyer and Company Secretary, Satish has also led inhouse roles in legal, corporate compliance, and secretarial functions for organizations across a wide range of industries, including banking, housing finance, non-banking finance companies, information technology, manufacturing, real estate, infrastructure and ports.

In addition, Satish is a registered Insolvency Professional with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), further strengthening his capabilities in managing complex corporate and financial distress scenarios.

He has advised general corporate advisory and transactions extensively, including cross-border banking & merger and acquisition transactions, banking & finance, financial regulatory, insolvency and structuring matters. His expertise includes advising on SEBI and RBI regulations and directions including FEMA, ODI & FDI, AIF regulations, investments through various structures and vehicles including main land and GIFT City, and foreign portfolio investor route. He has also advised on transactions requiring approvals and licensing from SEBI, RBI, stock exchanges and various regulatory and governmental bodies.

He has advised on various corporate promoters & shareholder dispute matters including settlements, corporate restructuring, insolvency, stake sale, minority majority stakeholder disputes of various corporate business houses.

Advised on the structuring, drafting, negotiation, and execution of complex commercial and financing transactions across diverse sectors, including energy, infrastructure, information technology, manufacturing, fintech, and banking & finance including debt restructuring, refinancing, private credit and structured finance, acquisition finance, securitization, debt capital markets, and regulatory advisory. Regularly advised on legal and secretarial due diligence for a wide range of transactions.

Advised on obtaining and maintaining regulatory licenses from SEBI and RBI, including the setup of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Family Offices, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), Housing Finance Companies (HFCs), and other regulated financial entities. Provided strategic guidance on change in control & structuring, regulatory reporting, and ongoing compliance with financial sector regulations.
