Madhusudhan Rao, RP of Bil Energy Systems Ltd. & Anr, FedEx Express Transportation and Supply Chain Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. v. Zipker Online Services Pvt. Ltd. & State Bank of India v. Gourishankar Poddar & Anr.

ARBITRATION

In the field of arbitration, Asav has represented financial institutions and corporate clients in high-value commercial disputes, securing successful outcomes through both domestic and international arbitration. He has successfully obtained attachment and sale orders under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, ensuring effective enforcement of arbitral awards and safeguarding his clients’ interests. Additionally, Asav was actively involved in representing an individual foreign investor client before the Supreme Court of India, where the issue of the stamping of arbitration agreements was addressed by a Constitution Bench of 7 judges.

Known for his strategic litigation skills and in-depth knowledge of civil, commercial, and arbitration law, Asav combines legal expertise with a results-oriented approach to provide effective solutions for his clients.

Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys playing the drums, experimenting in the kitchen, and reading extensively on civil trial law and legal jurisprudence.
