Arun is a Partner of IndiaLaw LLP and heads the Bangalore office of the firm. He is a multidisciplinary professional possessing rich experience in the areas of contract & project advisory, corporate commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and risk profiling & mitigation.

With educational background in law and management Arun dons’ multiple hats and brings a unique perspective to the businesses he advises. With over 19 years of industry experience in various sectors spanning energy (conventional & renewable), infrastructure, real estate, technology and waste management, he has honed his skills while holding leadership positions at some of the most reputed Indian law firms. His deep understanding of the business, legal and regulatory landscape enables him to expertly navigate complex operational requirements, ensuring seamless compliance and driving success for businesses.

He specialises in advising clients during the whole lifecycle of projects. He has counseled major private and public sector infrastructure companies on various mega and smaller infrastructure projects in India, MENA and Asia regions, including project implementation contract management, project advisory, project financing, drafting and reviewing EPC and project contracts, due diligence of vendors and subcontractors and contract negotiations with project stakeholders and dispute resolution, contributing to the successful execution, implementation and completion of high-value contracts.

He also works with some bright minds in the startup world, rendering strategic mentorship to promoters of promising startups and guiding them through the initial phases of devising business structure and growth strategy and developing systems for corporate compliances to catalyse their scale up.

In addition to his professional commitments, he takes time out to contribute towards environmental and social causes and hold board positions in some of the leading not-for-profit organisations.
