He has been advising some of the major public sector banks, private banks and NBFCs, as well as few of the country’s leading business houses, in financing of various large-scale infrastructure and real estate projects. He has been recognized by Legal500 as Recommended Lawyer in the banking and finance practice. Shrishail has represented lenders, borrowers, promoters investors in corporate finance/ project finance/ structure finance transactions cutting across major infrastructure sectors viz., power, renewable energy, roads, metro rail, ports, steel, oil & gas etc. He has also handled mega power projects, mega port projects, mega road projects, including few prestigious projects initiated by Government of India, NHAI under its PPP policy. His advisory role extends to debt restructuring transactions and also bonds/ debenture issuance. He is also highly recommended among the major players in real estate sector for RE funding transactions. His advisory role covers transactions involving development of commercial/ residential projects, extensive due diligence of material documents/ development agreements, and approvals thereunder, etc. He has garnered a remarkable reputation in handling securitization and direct assignment for consortium of lenders/ ARCs, including through Swiss challenge process. He is also regularly approached for general corporate advisory on variety of subjects including regulatory compliance, company law, banking, insolvency, real estate, tax laws, labour laws, IPR, media laws, municipal laws etc. Under his able leadership, the Banking & Finance practice has grown manifolds. Shrishail is also a panel member of the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry and is also a member of the National Committee on Legal Services of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
